About Me
I have over 3 years of experience as a mental health counselor. I enjoy working with clients ages 13 and up. I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor associate (LCMHCA #A15152). I have a Master of Science degree in clinical mental health counseling from UNC Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Davidson College.
I am an intersectional feminist who practices from a place of cultural humility. I strive to make my therapy space safe and welcoming for marginalized groups including the LGBTQ community, people of color, folks with disabilities, etc. I also use my lived experience with my AD/HD, mental illness, and bisexuality to inform my practice. I have found that through accepting these parts of me, doing the hard work of therapy, and practicing what I learned from that process—I have been able to find healing and better ways to navigate through life. If you are struggling right now, you are not alone. While no one can tell the future, by starting therapy and doing the work, you will in all likelihood be able to access change, growth, and healing.
